How to Calculate Workout Volume

Workout volume (or tonnage) is a key metric for tracking strength training progress. It's calculated as: Sets × Reps × Weight.

1. Enter Exercise Details:

Fill in the exercise name (optional), the number of sets, reps per set, and the weight used.

2. Select Units:

Choose whether the weight is in kilograms (kg) or pounds (lbs).

3. Add to Workout:

Click the "Add Exercise" button. The volume for that exercise will be calculated and added to your workout list.

4. Repeat:

Continue adding all exercises from your session. The total workout volume will be updated automatically.

Calculate total tonnage (Sets × Reps × Weight).
