HIIT Timer & Calorie Estimator

How We Estimate Calories

This calculator uses the MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) formula to estimate calories burned. It's a scientifically validated method for calculating energy expenditure.

The Formula:

Total Calories Burned = Total Duration (min) * (MET * 3.5 * Body Weight in kg) / 200

What is a MET?

A MET value represents the energy cost of an activity. For High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), the MET value is generally estimated to be 8.0 METs, reflecting the vigorous nature of the work periods averaged over the entire session.

The timer calculates your total workout duration based on your work, rest, and round inputs to give you a reliable estimate of the calories you've burned upon completion.

Set your intervals, start the timer, and track your burn.
