Calculating Your Run Distance
This tool helps you calculate the total distance of your run based on your time and either your pace or speed.
1. Choose a Calculation Method
Select whether you want to calculate your distance using your Pace or your average Speed.
- Pace: The time it takes you to cover a specific distance (e.g., 8 minutes per mile).
- Speed: The distance you cover in a specific amount of time (e.g., 7.5 miles per hour).
2. Enter Your Run Time
Input the total duration of your run in hours, minutes, and seconds.
3. Enter Your Pace or Speed
- If using Pace: Enter your average pace in minutes and seconds per mile or per kilometer.
- If using Speed: Enter your average speed in miles per hour (mph) or kilometers per hour (kph).
Formulas Used
The calculator uses these standard formulas:
- When using Pace:
Distance = Total Time / Pace - When using Speed:
Distance = Total Time × Speed
All inputs are converted to consistent units (e.g., seconds, hours, miles, km) for accurate calculation. The final result is displayed in both miles and kilometers.
