About the PSS-10 Scale

This calculator uses the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10), a widely used psychological tool for measuring the perception of stress.

Instructions:

The questions ask about your feelings and thoughts during the last month. For each question, indicate how often you felt or thought a certain way.

Scoring Guide:

Your total score is calculated based on your responses. Scores for positively worded questions are reversed. The total score indicates your level of perceived stress.

  • 0 - 13: Low Stress
  • 14 - 26: Moderate Stress
  • 27 - 40: High Perceived Stress
