The Associative Property
The associative property states that when you add or multiply numbers, it doesn't matter how you group them with parentheses; the result will be the same.
For Addition:
\( (a + b) + c = a + (b + c) \)
For Multiplication:
\( (a \times b) \times c = a \times (b \times c) \)
This property does not apply to subtraction or division.
Verifies the associative property for addition and multiplication.
