Cold/Flu Symptom Severity Score
This tool helps you quantify the severity of your cold or flu symptoms based on a simple scoring method. The flu and the common cold are both contagious respiratory illnesses, but different viruses cause them.
1. Rate Each Symptom:For each symptom listed, use the slider to select a severity level from 0 (No Symptom) to 5 (Very Severe). Common symptoms of a cold include a runny nose, sore throat, and cough, while flu symptoms are often more severe and may include high fever, body aches, and fatigue.
2. Calculate Score:After rating all your symptoms, click "Calculate Score". The tool will add up the points from each slider to give you a total severity score.
3. Interpret the Result:The final score will be categorized into levels like Mild, Moderate, or Severe to give you a general idea of how impactful your symptoms are.
